Hoʻokele Naʻauao: A Hawaiian Librarianship Symposium
Hoʻokele Naʻauao can be understood as "To sail towards knowledge." First held in 2013, Hoʻokele Naʻauao: A Hawaiian Librarianship Symposium provides a forum to promote Hawaiian stewardship practices in libraries, archives, and information centers. With an aim to advance Hawaiian librarianship, Hoʻokele Naʻauao has previously hosted local and international leaders in the field of Indigenous information management.
