Annemarie PaikaiAnnemarie Aweau Paikai (she/her) currently serves as the Hawaiʻi- Pacific Resources Librarian at Leeward Community College. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Hawaiian Studies from Ka Haka ʻUla o Keʻelikōlani, the Hawaiian Language College of the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo, and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science with a certificate in Archival Studies from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She was born and raised in the East San Francisco Bay Area, and shortly after found her way home to her ancestral ʻāina (lands) of Hawaiʻi. She currently lives in Kumuʻulu, Waiau, Oʻahu with her husband and 2 children. Professionally, Annemarie is interested in Hawaiian and Indigenous librarianship and specifically, projects that seek to better understand the intersection of libraries and Hawaiian knowledge frameworks, such as ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language) and moʻokūʻauhau (genealogy).

Keahiahi LongKeahiahi Long is from Mānoa, Oʻahu, is a mea hula no Waʻahila, and is the Librarian at the Kamakakūokalani Center for Hawaiian Studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Keahiahi holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science and Bachelor’s Degrees in Hawaiian Language and Hawaiian Studies from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Keahiahi is passionate about Hawaiian librarianship, Indigenous information literacy instruction, and advancing the information literacy capacities of Hawaiʻi communities.

Keikilani MeyerKeikilani Meyer was born in Honolulu, raised in Kailua, and lives in Pauoa. She received her MLISc in December 2014. Prior to receiving her degree, Ms. Meyer was the Interim Director for ALU LIKE, Inc.’s Native Hawaiian Library for seven years. She currently oversees the Hawaiian-Pacific and Nursing Collections for the Sullivan Family Library at Chaminade University of Honolulu. She is the current President of the Hawaiian-Pacific Chapter Special Libraries Association. Ms. Meyer is a second year doctoral candidate in the Interdisciplinary Communication and Information Sciences Program at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.

Erica DiasErica Dias is from Makiki, Oʻahu and currently serves as the Hawaiian Resources Librarian at Kapiʻolani Community College. She holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Washington at Seattle. Erica’s research interests include Hawaiian and Indigenous librarianship, context, and historical and generational trauma.
