While our professional organization was formed in 2016, Nā Hawaiʻi ʻImi Loa began in 2013 as a Graduate Student Organization in the Library and Information Science Program at UH Mānoa. Today, a student chapter continues in the LIS Program as Nā Hawaiʻi ʻImi Loa - Hui Haumāna. Visit the NHIL-hh website for more information: http://nhilhh.weebly.com/
